Total Health Center makes a variety of nutritional supplements available to its customers.  These are just some of the products available.  The Total Health Center offers these (and many more) products at 25% below the suggested retail price.  Some of these supplements include:

  • Bilberry: Powerful nutritional support for your eyes. Its positive effects include: strengthening blood vessels, enhancing night vision, soothing eyestrain, easing visual fatigue.

  • Black Cohosh: Addresses the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Can alleviate hot flashes and reduce night sweats, fatigue and nervousness.

  • Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10): Supports cardiovascular health and energy production. Helps prevent many degenerative diseases associated with aging.

  • Colostrum: The pre-milk fluid in nursing mothers, Colostrum modulates the immune system. It is used to fight allergies, sinus problems, chronic infection, multiple sclerosis, lupus and hypo- and hyperglycemia. It can also repair the effects of over-use of antibiotics.

  • Creatine: Effective in increasing muscle mass and strength as well as improving recovery time. Used by athletes in all sports, especially weight training. Be careful about dosage.

  • DHEA: A hormone that reduces vulnerability to diabetes, obesity, senility, arthritis, immune dysfunction, osteoporosis, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, muscle wasting, low energy, memory loss and certain cancers. DHEA is also used for treating depression.

  • Echinacea: Builds the immune system and has both antiviral and antibacterial effects. Use Echinacea only when symptoms are present.

  • Flax Seed Oil: Plays an important role in fat and cholesterol metabolism, bone mineralization and in the immune system. Provides essentially fatty acids.

  • Garlic: Garlic helps to lower cholesterol. Odor-free brands are available.

  • Ginko Biloba: Numerous studies of hundreds of geriatric patients have shown a decrease in the symptoms of vertigo, headache, tinnitus, senility, depression, fatigue and poor circulation. Ginko Biloba is an antioxidant, an anti-inflammatory and also shows promise as a brain stimulant. Do not take Ginko if you are also taking blood thinners.

  • Ginseng: Can be taken for tiredness, exhaustion or unusually strenuous physical work and is often used by athletes as a confirmed source of energy and endurance.

  • Glucosamine Sulfate: Reported to help the body repair eroded and damaged cartilage, improve joint function and help reduce symptoms of pain as well as osteoarthritis, joint tenderness and swelling.

  • Multi-vitamin: A quality multi-vitamin is the first thing a person should add to their diet. It is the foundation upon which the rest of the supplements are built.

  • Omega-3: Fatty acids found primarily in fish. Supplementing Omega-3 can reduce the risk of heart disease and improve hormonal function.

  • St. John’s Wort: Used primarily as an antidepressant or calming agent. Other depression relievers include SAMe, 5-HTP  and L-Theanine.

  • Vitamin C: Not just for preventing colds, Vitamin C can decrease dangerously high levels of lead in the blood and prevent lead poisoning. An antioxidant, it can also have beneficial effects on your skin.

  • Life Extension Mix:  Beyond a multi-vitamin, this dietary supplement contains 49 different nutrients designed for optimal daily standards, not minimum daily standards. It's been a regular with my customers since 1989.

  • MegaFood Calcium:  100% Whole Food nutrients not found in ordinary vitamins and minerals, which facilitates utilization and reduces potential for side-effects.
