Our therapy can benefit you in many ways.  These may include:

  • Acute Pain: If you’ve recently acquired sharp or deep, dull lower back pain, I can coax those muscles out of spasm.

  • Chronic Pain: If you have been diagnosed with, or noticed symptoms of: TMJ, migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, postural misalignment, sciatica, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, neck pain or sinus trouble – bodywork can help.

  • Posture: If your shoulders are up near your ears or your hips are so crooked that your inseam is different, you need to be kneaded.

  • Performance Enhancement: If you’re an avid exerciser, my therapy can increase your flexibility and keep you limber. Regular bodywork can actually enhance your performance.

  • Injury: If you are recovering from surgery or injury, my therapy can aid in faster and less painful recovery.

  • Stress: If you’re lethargic, lazy or stressed out, massage releases fatigue and can put a bounce back in your step.

  • Infants: Studies by the University of Miami’s Touch Research Institute have found that premature babies massaged three times a day for as few as five days consistently fare better than equally frail babies who don’t get massages. Full-term infants and older babies also benefit from massage. One of my patients had a newborn son who was born with his head indented on the right rear side and pushed out in the left front. In just a few therapy sessions, I was able to create a symmetrical shape and he is now fine.

  • Children: Children are not the little “rubber balls” that we may think they are. Kids do get injured and my therapy can be helpful for sports-related as well as other injuries.

  • Athletes: Therapeutic bodywork can increase performance, reduce the chance of injury and aid in injury-rehab time. This is valuable not only for avid athletes, but also for weekend athletes including tennis players, golfers, softball players, etc.

  • Seniors: Flexibility is a key ingredient in remaining youthful and pain-free. Soft-tissue (neuromuscular) therapy increases endorphin release, encourages proper posture and flexibility, eliminates toxins and feels great at any age. Movement is life.
