Drink plenty of water (at least
eight glasses) each day, especially before and after your session.

Communicate at all times. Let me
know how you feel (physically and emotionally) and what you think might be
causing it.

Find time to breathe. Slow,
deep, rhythmic breaths help to calm your body and release pain and muscle
tightness.

Pray or meditate every day.

Stretch before and after you
exercise or do any strenuous physical work. Stretch every day even if you’re
not going to be exercising.

Don’t stay in one position more
than 30 minutes at a time.

Lift properly—with your legs.

Avoid heavily processed foods,
artificial sweeteners, caffeine, tobacco, alcohol and drugs.
